The X-Lite is a fast, highly manoeuverable touring kayak designed for smaller paddlers or for larger paddlers who wish to play in the surf or rough water. It has a shallow V-bottom, hard chine, and low deck profile that make the kayak easy to handle and highly stable. The key-hole cockpit is shorter than on other Point 65N boats to fit the smaller paddler. A skeg and day hatch come standard. A retractable rudder is optional. The X-lite is available in both fiberglass and a lighter,stiffer kevlar/carbon version. The X-lite is an easy boat to transport at only 52lbs in fiberglass and only 38lbs in carbon/kevlar!
